Where Surgical Precision and Measured Refinement Meet

Dr. C. Coleman Brown is a board-certified plastic surgeon known for his calm bedside manner, technical precision, and proportion-focused aesthetic philosophy. After more than two decades in practice, Dr. Brown has refined a surgical approach centered on balance, subtlety, and long-term outcomes. His work is guided by the belief that aesthetic enhancement should restore identity rather than alter it. Patients consistently describe him as thoughtful, attentive, and steady; qualities that shape both the consultation experience and surgical results.

Education and Advanced Training

Originally a Louisiana native, Dr. Brown earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before completing his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine. He then completed five years of general surgery training at Texas Tech University, serving as Chief Resident during his final year.

This extensive surgical foundation was followed by specialized training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, one of the nation’s most respected medical institutions.  Dr. Brown further advanced his aesthetic expertise through an additional fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York, where he focused exclusively on cosmetic surgery. This extra year of dedicated aesthetic training distinguishes his background and informs his refined surgical approach.

Surgical Experience and Leadership

Throughout his career, Dr. Brown has treated a wide range of complex surgical cases, including reconstructive and revision procedures. Although his current practice is focused on aesthetic surgery, this depth of surgical experience informs the precision and consistency of his cosmetic outcomes.

He has served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital and maintains professional affiliations that reflect his ongoing commitment to excellence. Dr. Brown has also contributed academically as Adjunct Faculty at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, reflecting continued engagement in the advancement of surgical education.

Philosophy of Care

Aesthetic surgery requires restraint. Overcorrection can be as problematic as undercorrection. Dr. Brown approaches each case with a detailed anatomical assessment and a commitment to proportion.

Whether performing facial rejuvenation, body contouring, or non-surgical refinement, the objective remains consistent: balanced enhancement that appears natural in motion and at rest.

Consultations are deliberate and unhurried. Patients are encouraged to ask questions and understand their options fully before making decisions. The focus is not volume. It is precision.
